English,as an important course for spreading Chinese culture,plays an important role in enhancing the soft power of Chi-nese culture.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the quality of English teaching and cultivate students'ability to tell China's story in Eng-lish well.This article will analyze the current situation of cultivating college students'ability to tell Chinese stories well in English,and then propose suggestions to improve students'awareness of telling China's stories well in English,increase teachers'relevant knowledge re-serve,and promote teaching reform to serve the national development.
