This article discusses the cognitive process of classical poetry translation based on image-schema theory.The findings of this research are as follows,the essence of classical poetry translation is constructing interworking schema concept through translation strat-egies.This article offers a new perspective to study the classical poetry translation and gives a practical guidance for the translators,which is helpful for the excellent Chinese culture to better"go out".
