Challenges and Opportunities for Academic English Writing Teaching in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
With the development and wide application of artificial intelligence(AI)technology,especially the remarkable break-through in the field of large language model(LLM),the teaching of academic English writing is facing unprecedented challenges and op-portunities.This paper discusses the current situation and challenges of academic English writing teaching in the era of artificial intelli-gence,especially under the influence of large language model.Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,it reveals students'attitude towards large language model in the process of scientific research and writing,and further discusses the transformation of the role of teachers in academic English writing class,and the application potential of AI in pre-writing research,writing process and post-writing review.
