Exploration and Research on the Path of English Education with Civil Aviation Characteristics in the Context of National First-class Major Construction
Inspired by the national initiative to establish first-class majors,the Foreign Languages College of Civil Aviation University of China has actively embraced national strategic imperatives through educational innovation and practice.The college has de-vised an English education system imbued with distinct civil aviation characteristics,with the aim of nurturing versatile,applied,and in-ternationally proficient high-level language service talents who align with the demands of the global civil aviation industry.This paper delves into the specific measures undertaken by the college,encompassing curriculum system reforms,teaching methodology innovations,the construction of a practical teaching system,and comprehensive support for student development.Notably,it highlights the design blue-print and implementation strategies tailored for the development of national first-class majors.Furthermore,it summarizes the successful experiences and offers insights into potential avenues for future development.
