英语中作主语的假并列性结构的认知语用解释

基于CAD模型和认知语法构式压制观分别对英语中作主语表单数意义的两种假并列性结构的认知语用特点进行阐释,发现:(1)两种假并列性结构的"并列项"之间存在语义上的补充关系;(2)介于并列连词与从属连词或介词之间的结构引导的作主语的假并列性结构和现代汉语中的假并列性结构具有相似性,"并列连词"都比较多样,"并列连词"发挥的是从属连词或介词的功能,"'并列连词'+名词(词组)"是对整个句子的语义补充.
Abstract
Based on the CAD model and the cognitive grammar view of construction coercion,this paper elucidates the cognitive-pragmatic characteristics of two types of pseudo-coordinate structures that serve as singular-meaning subjects in English,and finds that:(1)There is a semantic relationship of supplementation between the"coordinate items"of these two types of pseudo-coordinate structures;(2)The pseudo-coordinate structures as subjects that are introduced by structures between coordinate conjunctions and subor-dinating conjunctions or prepositions show similarities with those in Modern Chinese,where"coordinate conjunctions"are diverse and serve the function of subordinating conjunctions or prepositions,and the"'coordinate conjunction'+noun(phrase)"represents a semantic supplementation to the entire sentence.
