文章致力于探究大学英语写作中衔接手段的使用差异.经由对不同水平学生的英语作文进行深入分析,发现高水平学生与低水平学生在衔接手段的运用上展现出了显著差异.高水平学生更倾向于使用丰富的词汇衔接手段,如词汇搭配和重述,以增强文章的连贯性和流畅性;低水平学生则更多地依赖于语法衔接手段,如照应和连接,尽管其使用频率较高,但错误率也相对较高,显示出了他们在运用上的不足.随着学生语言水平的提高,他们的衔接手段使用将逐渐从口语化转向更为规范和书面化的表达.
This paper aims to explore the differences in the use of cohesion methods in college English writing.Through the in-depth analysis of the English composition of students of different levels,it is found that there is a significant difference between high level students and low level students in the use of cohesion means.High-level students tend to use rich vocabulary methods,such as vocabulary collocation and restatement,to enhance the coherence and fluency of the article,while low-level students rely more on grammar methods,such as reference and connection,despite their high frequency,the error rate is relatively high,showing their poor use.With the improve-ment of students'language level,the use of their cohesion means will gradually change from colloquial to more standardized and written ex-pression.
