The importance of positive psychology is increasingly essential to foreign language learning.On the one hand,English teaching should pay attention to the effectiveness of students'learning.On the other hand,advanced theories such as positive psychology should be applied to promote the development of students'foreign language enjoyment and improve students'learning engagement level.There is a dynamic interaction between foreign language enjoyment and learning engagement.In the process of foreign language learning,foreign language enjoyment depends on learning engagement,and in turn is also affected by learning engagement.This paper aims to give an overview of the development of foreign language enjoyment and learning engagement,explore the internal interaction of these,and put forward strategies to promote students'foreign language enjoyment and learning engagement.
