In the context of China's important strategic initiative of"culture going global",this paper takes the Former Residence of Qiu Jin and Ceramic Valley in Zhuzhou as examples,and analyzes the translation issues of Zhuzhou's tourist attractions existing at the lin-guistic,cultural,and other pragmatic levels from the cross-cultural communication perspective.A set of corresponding translation strate-gies are then proposed by the paper,including enhancing translators'skills and cross-cultural awareness,improving management standards at tourist attractions,and reinforcing unified supervision by tourism authorities.These measures aim to improve the quality of translations at Zhuzhou's tourist attractions,effectively convey Zhuzhou's unique story,and facilitate the global dissemination of Zhuzhou's rich local cultures.
