Research on English Writing Teaching in Private Universities Based on Metacognition Theory
In the development of college students'English abilities,writing is the most important skill,but easily overlooked.In today's college English class,problems,such as unclear improvement in writing scores for students,have always existed.Therefore,how to effectively improve students'English writing skill has become an urgent issue to be addressed in current English teaching.The article fo-cuses on metacognitive theory and discusses its application to college English writing teaching,attempting to explore how to use metacogni-tive knowledge to enhance students'writing abilities from the perspective of teachers.
