Research on the Enhancement of Digital Competence of Foreign Language Teachers in Science and Engineering Universities in Xinjiang Based on the Smart Platform
The enhancement of digital literacy of foreign language teachers in higher education institutions is an important guarantee for the digital transformation of foreign language education.According to the latest national standards for teacher digital literacy released by the Ministry of Education in 2022,the digital literacy of public foreign language teachers in Xinjiang's engineering universities needs to be further improved.Although college teachers have digital literacy awareness,their digital literacy awareness has not been fully transformed into digital teaching practices in foreign language teaching.This paper mainly takes foreign language teachers in engineering universities in Xinjiang as the research object,relying on the Unipus and iTeach Teacher Digital Literacy AI platform,and explores how to enhance teachers'digital teaching ability to meet the challenges of digital transformation of education,promote new impetus for teacher professional development.
