摘要
生成式人工智能在翻译领域的应用日益广泛,对翻译实践带来了深远影响.生成式人工智能在解析文本含义、提供相关知识、根据文本类型及语境提升翻译质量等方面的优势逐渐显现的同时,也面临着诸多挑战.文章以ChatGPT为例,分析了生成式人工智能在科技翻译中的优势和挑战,以期为未来生成式人工智能在科技翻译领域的发展提供参考.
Abstract
The application of generative AI in translation is increasingly widespread,significantly impacting translation practices.While its strengths in understanding textual meaning,providing relevant knowledge,and enhancing translation quality based on context are evident,challenges remain.The benefits and challenges of generative AI in scientific and technical translation are analyzed,using ChatG-PT as an example,to provide insights for its future development in this field.
