Based on the Double First-Class initiative,this paper highlights the crucial role of EMI(English-medium Instruction)in advancing medical education's internationalization,boosting students'global competitiveness,and fostering international academic dialogue.Using a macro,meso,and micro analytical framework,it explores the ecological environment of EMI teacher development in medical education.Recommendations include creating an interdisciplinary EMI teacher training system,developing comprehensive policy support,and strengthening the EMI teacher community.These suggestions are intended to foster a conducive ecosystem that promotes the professional development and innovative capabilities of EMI teachers,thereby providing robust teacher support and academic reinforcement for medical colleges in the pursuit of the"Double First-Class"construction goal.
