An Exploration of College English Reading Teaching Based on Input Hypothesis Theory
The comprehensible input hypothesis proposed by Krashen has been widely used in English teaching and English teaching model reform. In order to effectively solve the problems of college students'weak English foundation and weak interest in English learning, the input hypothesis theory is introduced.Based on the guidance of this theory, the reform strategy of college English reading teaching is proposed from two perspectives of extracurricular and classroom interaction.Independent input can be effectively realized by relying on ex-tracurricular homework, multimedia audio-visual training and classroom display.By fully following the principles of comprehensibility,non-grammatical procedures, interest and relevance, the principle of sufficient input(i+1),the principle of scientific appropriate amount of reading materials, and the reform of teaching arrangements, interactive classroom input can be effectively realized, aiming to enhance students'interest in English learning and improve the effectiveness of college English reading teaching.
