探讨大学英语从基础英语向专业化英语教学转变的必要性和建议

摘要
随着时代的发展,大学英语教学需要满足各个专业学科学生的实际需求,即大学英语教学需要紧密结合各个专业的相关专业知识展开专业化的英语教学.文章分析了大学英语教学现状,概述了专业学生大学英语学习的特殊需求,探讨了大学英语从基础英语向专业化英语教学转变的迫切性和必要性,最后从设计专业化教学内容、强化教学资源支持、建设高素质教师队伍三个方面提出改革建议,以期能提升大学英语的专业化英语教学质量,增强学生的专业化英语应用能力,促进学科发展,增强国际交流与竞争力.
Abstract
With the development of the times,college English teaching has to satisfy the needs of students from all kinds of special-ized subjects.College English teaching should be specialized and based upon the knowledge of each specialized subject.The article analy-zes the current situation of college English teaching,generalizes students'special needs from college English teaching,and explores the ur-gency and necessity of shifting college English teaching from basic to specialized.And finally the article proposes reform suggestions from three aspects,that is to say,designing specialized English teaching content,strengthening teaching resource support and building a high-quality teacher team,in order to improve the quality of college English teaching,enhance students'practical English ability,promote dis-ciplinary development,and enhance international communication and competitiveness.
