认知语义视角下高校英语词汇教学改革路径探究

摘要
在国家文化振兴和跨文化传播的时代背景下,高校英语词汇教学面临新的挑战.认知语义学作为认知语言学的分支,不仅强调词汇语义是语法的中心,其语义场理论、原型范畴理论和概念隐喻理论能够帮助厘清语义关系,拓展词汇思维,提升词汇理解能力,从而提高教学水平和效果,帮助学生在不同的语境中正确运用词汇.文章基于认知语义相关理论,就如何更加有效地进行英语词汇教学展开探讨,以期提升教学成效.
Abstract
Against the backdrop of national cultural revitalization and cross-cultural communication,English vocabulary teaching in universities is facing new challenges.Cognitive semantics,as a branch of cognitive linguistics,not only emphasizes that lexical semantics are the center of grammar,but also its semantic field theory,prototype category theory,and conceptual metaphor theory can help clarify semantic relationships,expand vocabulary thinking,enhance vocabulary comprehension ability,thereby improving teaching level and ef-fectiveness,and helping students correctly use vocabulary in different contexts.This article explores how to effectively carry out English vo-cabulary teaching based on cognitive semantic theory,in order to improve teaching effectiveness.
