摘要

英语作为国际通用语言,是连接各国文化交流的桥梁.语言与文化的关联十分紧密,通过将文化元素与语言知识进行有机结合,能够更好地展现文化底蕴,提高主体的文化意识.当前,在教育改革步伐持续推进的背景下,高校英语教学不再仅仅局限于语言知识的传授,更聚焦于培养学生的跨文化交流能力.基于这一背景,文章探讨了在高校英语阅读教学中融入文化意识培养的重要意义与实施策略,并剖析了存在的问题,以助推文化与语言意识的双向成长,确保阅读教学取得实效.

Abstract

As an international lingua franca,English serves as a bridge for cultural exchange between countries.The close relation-ship between language and culture underscores the value of organically integrating cultural elements with language knowledge to better showcase cultural depth and enhance individuals'cultural awareness.In the context of ongoing educational reforms,college English teach-ing is no longer limited to the transmission of language knowledge but increasingly focuses on cultivating students'cross-cultural communi-cation skills.Based on this premise,this paper discusses the significance and implementation strategies of integrating cultural awareness cultivation in college English reading instruction,and analyzes the existing problems,aiming to promote the dual growth of individuals'cultural and linguistic awareness and ensure the effectiveness of reading instruction.
