Empirical Study on Cross Cultural Teaching of College English Based on CBI Teaching Concept
Globalization has put forward new demands for the cultivation of cross-cultural abilities among college students in China.Foreign language courses,with their dual nature of being both tools and carriers of culture,are the important pathway for the development of cross-cultural competencies.In order to better integrate cross-cultural education into college English teaching,this paper has construc-ted a college English cross-cultural teaching model based on the CBI teaching concept,and carried out college English cross-cultural teaching practice according to this model.This article takes a specific unit as an example to illustrate how to design cross-cultural teaching in college English based on the CBI teaching concept,demonstrates the teaching implementation process,and evaluates the teaching effec-tiveness.
