Machine Translation Error Studies of Scientific Texts
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,numerous machine translation software and platforms have emerged,bringing new opportunities to the translation industry.Although machine translation has clear advantages in efficiency and cost,it still has some limitations.To address these problems,the introduction of post-editing effectively compensates for the shortcomings of machine translation.Therefore,many language service providers are increasingly adopting a model that combines machine translation with post-edi-ting(MT+PE).This paper analyzes machine-translation texts and post-edited texts,summarizing error types in scientific and technologi-cal texts from the perspectives of vocabulary and syntax.The paper aims to help translators understand and master error types in machine translation,thereby enhancing post-editing efficiency.
