Study on the Application of the BOPPPS Teaching Model in College English Classrooms under the OBE Concept
Based on the OBE(Outcome-Based Education)concept,the application of the BOPPPS teaching model in college Eng-lish classrooms helped improve teaching effectiveness and students'language application skills.The OBE concept emphasized an outcome-based approach,driving teaching design to focus on enhancing students'abilities.The study showed that traditional English teaching meth-ods had issues such as being teacher-centered,neglecting individual difference of students,and overlooking learning feedback.However,the BOPPPS model,under the guidance of the OBE concept,can promote interactivity and participation,enhance the focus and effective-ness of teaching.The study provided an overview of the current application of the BOPPPS model in college English teaching and offered improvement strategies,aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for teaching reform.
