Analysis of the Current Situation and Improvement Strategies of College English Teaching in Application-oriented Undergraduate Universities
With the development of higher education in China,application-oriented undergraduate universities play an important role in cultivating high-quality talents with practical abilities and innovative spirit.However,the current college English teaching in applica-tion-oriented undergraduate universities faces many challenges,such as unclear teaching objectives,monotonous teaching methods and content,excessive class load leading to unsatisfactory teaching effects,single teaching evaluation methods,and lack of interest and moti-vation among students.The study aims to analyze the current situation and existing problems of college English teaching in application-ori-ented undergraduate universities,and propose corresponding improvement strategies,in order to provide references for college English teaching in application-oriented undergraduate universities.
