Exploration of Teaching Strategies for Chinese Adult Oral English under the Theory of Second Language Acquisition
For Chinese adult English oral learners,the lack of language environment and cultural differences are the two main factors hindering positive transfer of learning.Chinese and English belong to the Sino Tibetan language family and the Indo European language family,which have significant differences in structure,meaning,grammar,and pronunciation and intonation.Meanwhile,English is an internationally recognized language,and most non-native English speaking countries incorporate it as a second language into their educa-tional curriculum.Based on the theory of second language acquisition and the background of English variants in China,the study applies literature review,comparative analysis,and observation methods,to study the characteristics and difficulties of adult English oral learning in China,which aims to explore how to improve teaching strategies in adult English oral teaching to achieve better teaching results.
