英语阅读语篇中词汇推理的认知参照点分析

摘要
认知参照点是人类的一项基本认知能力.词汇推理是读者利用语境或背景知识获取不熟悉单词意义的一种认知策略.读者对语篇意义的理解需要借助于词汇推理策略,词汇推理策略的有效使用还依赖于认知参照点模式.研究在阐述认知参照点的基础上,着重分析了在语篇阅读过程中,读者使用的基于认知参照点的词汇推理策略;然后归纳了多种充当参照点的认知方式,并用实例证明了该策略的可行性,以期为阅读以及词汇教学提供可资借鉴的启示.
Abstract
Cognitive reference point is a basic cognitive ability of humans.Lexical inferencing is a strategy that readers use context or background knowledge to acquire the meaning of unfamiliar words.Readers'understanding of discourses requires lexical inferencing strate-gies,and the use of which relies on the cognitive reference point model.On the basis of explaining cognitive reference points,the study fo-cuses on analyzing the vocabulary reasoning strategies used by readers in the discourse reading.Then,it sums up several cognitive ways serving as reference points,and the feasibility of the strategy is proved with examples,in order to provide valuable insights for reading and vocabulary teaching.
