基于NOW语料库的内蒙古地区形象研究——以鄂尔多斯市为例

摘要
研究以系统功能语言学中的评价理论为基础,旨在从NOW语料库中提取有关内蒙古的新闻报道数量、高频词和关键词等数据,分析不同国家英语媒体的话语.研究从新闻报道的主题和态度入手,分析以鄂尔多斯市为例的形象的变化.结果表明,西方新闻媒体对鄂尔多斯市的报道在主题和态度上发生了转变,从最初关注城市规划问题、关注经济发展与环境保护失衡、质疑产业结构失衡,到现在更加关注产业转型与创新、环境治理、生态保护,更加关注鄂尔多斯市的发展与转型.
Abstract
The study is based on the appraisal theory from Systemic Functional Linguistics(SFL),aiming to extract data such as the number of news reports,high-frequency words,and key words from the NOW corpus on Ordos City,and to analyze the discourse of Eng-lish media from different countries.The study explores the themes and attitudes of the news reports to analyze the changes in the city image of Ordos.The results show that Western news media's reports on Ordos have undergone a shift in themes and attitudes,from initially focu-sing on urban planning issues,concerns about the imbalance between economic development and environmental protection,questioning the imbalance of industrial structure,to focusing more on industrial transformation and innovation,environmental governance,and ecological protection,paying more attention to the development and transformation of Ordos.
