The study explores the procedure of Production-oriented Approach in college English teaching in the context of digital em-powerment.The author has developed a new pattern of Production-oriented Approach,with the teaching and learning process motivated by AI assistants,enabled by digital textbooks and platforms,and assessed by digital evaluation including teacher evaluation,automated eval-uation,self-evaluation as well as peer evaluation.This pattern has been applied in college English teaching practice to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the"Digital Production-oriented Approach".Digital technology can help stimulate students'interest in learning,pro-vide rich learning resources,enhance the interactivity of teaching,achieve more efficient assessment,etc.,which can improve learners'language output throughout the process and in all aspects.
