This paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by college English translation teaching in the era of AIGC and proposes feasible strategies to address them.Integrating AIGC into college English translation teaching can provide teachers with efficient teaching resources and tools,while offering students real-time feedback and scenario simulations,thereby effectively enhancing teaching quality.However,it also presents issues such as fragmented and superficial translation learning,inaccuracies,and even conflicts in learn-ing concepts.The introduction of AIGC has become an inevitable trend,and college English teaching should transform the role of teachers,reshape teaching objectives,and reconstruct the knowledge system to adapt to this change.
