Correction of Paper Historical Image Map Based on Non-Measurement Camera Photography
Due to the drawbacks of aging, fading, easy damage, and difficulty in preservation, paper historical image maps urgently require electronic and digital protection.Aiming at the paper historical image maps that are not suitable for electronic scanning,a rasterization method of historical maps based on non-measurement camera photography is proposed.Close range photogrammetry is used to make full use of the evenly distributed kilometer grid of the map for in-map orientation, and then use the recent digital orthophoto image to select the same name control point to perform geometric correction on the historical image to generate the CGCS2000 coordinate system digital orthophoto map.The method has been well applied in the paper historical image map correction project in Wuxi county, which proves that the method is simple and feasible. The data specifications and accuracy can meet relevant regulatory requirements, and it has good technical reference value for the protection and utilization of paper maps of the same type of historical image.
