Research on Thematic Map Batch Mapping Method Based on ArcPy and Data Driven Pages
According to the problem that custom tile thematic maps cannot be exported in batches,a new batch mapping workflow of thematic maps is proposed.Use ArcPy to solve the generation of tile index layers,the selection of mapping templates,and the batch output of results,it solves the difficulty of manually selecting the paper size of the custom tile thematic map and automated paper size selection based on tile index layers.Using dynamic text,extent indicators and calculate adjacent fields geoprocessing tool to realize the automatic update of thematic map decoration information and map range.It greatly improves the efficiency of the operator and the precision and accuracy of the results in the process of producing the results of the land use status map,and provides new ideas for the automated mapping of thematic maps.
