Research on Application of GNSS Marine Buoy Satellite-Based Augmentation System
GNSS ocean buoys play an important role in oceanographic research, and their high-precision and reliable position information is an important researchissue. The contribution uses the Global Satellite Navigation System(GNSS)satellite based augmentation service to obtain the position information of buoys in the ocean observation environment. The mean square error of parameter estimation is used as the internal coincidence accuracy, and the high-precision software IE(Inertial Explorer)solution results are used as a reference to determine the external coincidence accuracy. The contribution evaluates the accuracy and reliability of a satellite-based augmentation service Hi-RTP on GNSS ocean buoys.Based on the periodic regularity of movement of ocean waves, polynomial fitting is introduced to optimize the height value of GNSS solution. The experiment results show that the Hi-RTP service has an internal coincidence accuracy of 8 cm and an external coincidence accuracy of 1.9 m for positioning on ocean buoys. It has superiority comparing to standard point positioning. In addition, the fitting optimization method of low order polynomials effectively compensates for the lack of observation and improves the positioning accuracy ofheight value. This method can provide theoretical reference for offshore positioning applications.
