Digital Model Construction of Highway Surface Using Vehicle-Borne Point Cloud
Highway surface digital model is the basic geometric model of smart highway digital twin,construction and management.Aiming at the construction of highway surface model this paper presents an integrated construction method of vehicle-borne laser point cloud digital highway surface model using combined filtering.Firstly,the point cloud data is preprocessed by the combined filtering method,the point cloud data including the road surface is retained,and the surface marking feature points are extracted.Secondly,the dense point cloud descending sampling and sparse point cloud interpolation methods are used to simplify and optimize the point cloud data volume.Finally,Delaunay triangulation network is constructed by incremental insertion method,and the surface model is optimized to generate highway surface digital model.The experimental results show that the proposed method can compress the amount of point cloud data without losing the initial point cloud accuracy,and the constructed three-dimensional highway model is smooth and clear in detail,which is of great significance for the construction of high-precision digital twin highway three-dimensional model.
