Research on the Impact of Class Mobility on People's Sense of Gain from the Perspective of Common Prosperity
Promoting class upward mobility and comprehensively enhancing the sense of gain a-mong the people are crucial to improving people's livelihoods and promoting common prosperity.Combining with the 2015 CGSS database,2019 and 2021 CSS databases,this article explores the impact of class mobility on the sense of gain and tests its influencing mechanism by constructing an index system to measure it.The study finds that class upward mobility can enhance the sense of gain in economy,politics,and people's livelihoods,with more significant effects on low-class groups;class upward mobility can influence the sense of gain by alleviating income inequality and opportunity inequality,and the level of digital economic development can regulate the interaction between them;the impact of class mobility on the sense of gain is smaller in rural areas and western regions.The research conclusions confirm the relationship between class mobility and the sense of gain from the micro level,explore the influencing mechanism between them from the theoretical level,and provide policy insights for promoting common prosperity.
