The Realization Path and Regional Differences of High-Quality Construction of Digital Villages in China:Configuration Analysis Based on the Top 100 Digital Villages
There is no unified understanding of the path to high-quality construction of digital village,and there are obvious differences between regions.Based on the data of the top 100 digital villages in 2022,starting from the TOE analysis framework of"technology-organization-environ-ment"linkage,an emerging method combining NCA and QCA is used to analyze the high-quality construction path and regional differences of digital villages in China.The study finds that high-quality construction of digital village requires a combination of multiple conditions,and a single condition has limited effect;there are four configuration paths for high-quality construction of digit-al village:technology-organization linkage,technology-organization optimization,technology-or-ganization symbiosis,and environmental integration,indicating that China's digital rural construc-tion emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between technology and organizations.Further analysis finds that the configuration path of high-digital rural construction in the southeastern coastal areas is organization-led,multi-dimensional coordinated,and technology-environment driven.The con-figuration path of the inland provinces is technology-led,technology innovative,and the type of technology external pressure.Comparative analysis of regional differences shows that the high-qual-ity construction of digital village in the southeastern coastal areas presents diversified forms,while the technological dimension of inland provinces plays a significant driving role.The research results provide theoretical guidance for accelerating the high-quality construction of China's digital village and provide practical inspiration for solving the digital divide problem caused by regional differ-ences.
