How the Application of Data Elements Affects Distributed Innovation in Enterprises:Empirical Evidence from the Micro Perspective of Listed Companies
In the era of digital economy,the importance of data as a factor of production has become increasingly prominent.The application of data elements has profoundly changed the traditional innovation logic dominated by industrial agglomeration and spatial proximity,formed a distributed innovation with the characteristics of collaboration,network and sharing,and brought about the reshaping of enterprise innovation mode.Based on this,this paper takes A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2022 as samples to explore the impact of data elements on enterprise distributed innovation and its mechanism.It is found that the application of data elements can significantly promote the improvement of enterprise distributed innovation level,and this conclusion is still valid after various robustness tests.The mechanism test shows that the information spillover effect,network remodeling effect and supply chain concentration reduction effect brought by the application of data elements can effectively promote the distributed innovation of enterprises.Heterogeneity test shows that the application of urban data elements in high-tech industry enterprises,higher quality of data opening,and better construction of smart city and digital infrastructure has a more significant role in promoting distributed innovation.This study not only enriches the relevant research on the influence of data elements on enterprise behavior,but also has important implications for further forming an open innovation model with global competitiveness and building an innovation-oriented country.
