Research on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Embedding on the Layout Reconstruction and Value Extension of China's"Necked"Innovation Chain
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the pattern of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development,giving birth to collaborative innovation of diversified subjects,and providing a source of power for the reconstruction of innovation chain and value extension.The three-dimensional panel data of 35 digital core industries in 62 digital intelligence innovation clusters from 2013 to 2023 are matched by using GTA and other databases to construct indicators such as artificial intelligence embedding degree and innovation chain layout reconstruction efficiency.Through theoretical analysis and empirical test,this paper focuses on the effect and mechanism of artificial intelligence embedding on the layout reconstruction of innovation chain,traces the"footprint"of artificial intelligence embedding promoting the layout reconstruction of innovation chain,and further investigates the impact of artificial intelligence embedding on the value extension of innovation chain.The results show that artificial intelligence embedding promotes the layout reconstruction of innovation chain and its value extension,and the spatial integration of innovation elements and the synergy of innovation industry technology play a partial intermediary role.Artificial intelligence embedding in capital and technology-intensive industries effectively promotes the layout reconstruction of innovation chain.The promotion effect of artificial intelligence embedding on layout reconstruction at the front end of the innovation chain is higher than that at the back end of the innovation chain.At the same time,the embedding of artificial intelligence in developed factor markets and high-tech industries has further promoted the layout reconstruction of China's"Neck"innovation chain.This study provides new ideas for building China's core innovation system and deepening the innovation-driven development strategy.
