The Unique Role of Cultural Capital:Deep Mechanism of Community Secretary Leading Community Development
Community differentiation development is a common phenomenon,but its internal mechanism has remained unexplored.The shift in community development theory from demand-based to asset-based shows the importance of community social capital.Through the in-depth analysis of a typical case of community secretary leading community development in a city,it is found that the community secretary's sense of mission,ambition and the ability of leadership are the most critical factors.Theoretical analysis shows that community secretary has unique cultural capital.Through the accumulation of social capital,cultural capital plays a fundamental role in the development of community led by Party building.In order to play the role of cultural capital,it is necessary to change the selection mechanism of community"two committees"and change the focus of community performance assessment.
