Diagnosis Research on Low-Carbon City Economic Performance in China from the Process Management Perspective
Low-carbon city construction is a long-term systematic project,and low-carbon economy is a crucial aspect of low-carbon city construction.In order to accurately assess the current performance of low-carbon economic construction in Chinese cities,this paper developed a diagnostic index system of low-carbon city economic performance from the perspective of process management,systematically and dynamically evaluating the performance of low-carbon city economy construction in China.This paper selected 36 major cities for empirical study,and found that:(1)Overall,the sample cities have a high level of low-carbon economic construction,among which Shanghai,Nanjing,Tianjin,Chongqing performed prominently.(2)In terms of spatial distribution,the scores of eastern coastal cities and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt are generally high,while that of cities in the central and western regions are relatively low.The level of low-carbon economic city construction is affected by the actual level of economic development,and it has obvious spatial spillover effect.(3)Among the performance in each process,the process of"Do"has the highest score,while the scores of other processes are significantly different in 36 cities.This study provides a theoretical basis for Chinese cities to improve the performance of low-carbon economic construction,and provides targeted policy suggestions for low-carbon city economic construction management,which has an important role and significant reference for promoting Chinese low-carbon city construction.
