Evolution Process and Institutional Logic of Spatial Distribution of Innovative Enterprises in Hangzhou
Institution is an important driving factor for the evolution of urban space.As one of the core components of urban space,the material carrier,relied on by innovative enterprises,is affected by institutional factors in a more direct and significant way.Taking Hangzhou as an example,this paper is intended to build a"institution-space"logic framework based on the new institutionalism theory,trying to summarize the evolution process of the spatial distribution of innovative enterprises and revealing its internal institutional logic as well.It's found from the research that:①The evolution of the spatial distribution of innovative enterprises has gone through four stages including"old city agglomeration,suburban migration,scattered distribution and returning to the urban".During this process,the institutional evolution is not linear,but always in the circulation"from trial to innovation".②The institutional logic mainly includes four aspects as follows:the emergence of the decentralization institution,the guidance of the spatial planning institution,the support of the innovation policy institution and the drive of the existing renewal institution.Finally,optimization suggestions are proposed from three aspects of strengthening the role of the institution,innovating the institution supply and improving the institution guarantee.This study is conducive to enriching the institutional connotation of the spatial distribution evolution of innovative enterprises,which can also provide reference for the institutional innovation of local governments.
