Analysis of Urban Space Vitality Based on Weibo Check-in Data:A Case Study of Suzhou
With the development of the information technology,there are all kinds of data in our urban life.Among them,social media data represented by Weibo check-in data provides the possibility for planners to explore the dynamic relationship between social activities and the urban environment.This study uses Suzhou's Weibo check-in data as a carrier to explore the application of emerging big data in interpreting spatial structure and vitality.This study also explores the understanding of the interaction between urban residents'social activities and urban space.The results indicate that the land use and organization of urban space determine the degree and duration of urban residents'activities.This study undoubtedly provides a profound interpretation of the relationship between urban structure and social activities under the new data.It carries and offers a new theoretical attempt for future related research and planning method in terms of urban planning.
