Evolution Characteristics and Influencing Mechanism of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration Network Pattern from the Perspective of"Information Flow"
Information flow is the core index to measure regional urban network pattern in the information age.In order to explore the evolution law of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei city-regional network pattern,Baidu index data of 13 cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2011 to 2019 were selected to calculate the total amount of information flow, network density, dominant flow, centrality and QAP correlation coefficient by relying on ArcGIS,Ucinet and geographic probe. This paper analyzes the evolution characteristics of urban agglomeration network pattern and the influence mechanism of multi-factor interaction on network structure. The results show that:(1)The overall network of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration tends to be balanced, presenting a"bow"distribution characteristic with hierarchical orientation and center orientation. The core network of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration evolves from a strong"axial-axis"structure to a stable"polygon"structure.(2)The fluctuation of the city level tends to ease, the pattern of"one core, two cities and multiple fulcrum"is clearer, and the agglomeration phenomenon of single core is still prominent.(3)Under the coupling effect of multiple factors, population size no longer constitutes the most important factor affecting urban network, and innovation ability becomes the stable accelerator of regional network equalization. In the future, regional resource sharing and coordination should be strengthened, resource allocation should be tilted towards node/edge cities, and investment in innovation research and development and policy support should be enhanced to foster new driving forces for the optimization of urban network pattern.
