As the policy for approving urban rail transit projects becomes more stringent,the requirements for passenger flow assessment for completed lines increase.Many cities are facing challenges with suboptimal passenger traffic intensities,leading to a high dependence on government subsidies.This creates a significant hurdle for the steady growth and sustainable development of urban rail transit.The article discusses this issue from multiple perspectives,including planning,design,and operation,considering both short-term and long-term measures.It summarizes and proposes six major strategies to enhance passenger flow in urban rail transit,aiming to foster a steady increase in ridership and guide sustainable development in the sector.
