Evaluation of the Quality of Industrial Economy Operation in Major Cities in China
The study established an evaluatioin system for the quality of industrial economy operation in Chinese cities. It applied the entropy-weighted Topsis method to evaluate the quality of industrial economy operation in 20 major industrial cities in China from 2013 to 2020.The evaluation also incorporated methods like credibility analysis, coupling coordination degree, and cluster analysis to study the changes in the quality of industrial economic operation and its subsystems across time and space dimensions. The findings indicate that from 2013 to 2020,the overall quality of industrial economy operation in the 20 cities showed a generally stable and improving trend.A preliminary"high coupling, good coordination"pattern among the five subsystems has emerged, though disparities in the quality of industrial economy operation exist among the cities. However,as China's industrial economy continues to transform and upgrade, the degree of differentiation between cities is diminishing.
