Research on the Renewal Strategy of the Old City Community in Suzhou Gusu District Based on the Evaluation of Cultural Capital
As the central urban area of Suzhou,the old city community in Gusu district is not only faced with the demand for connotation and refinement under the background of stock,but also bears the urban context and the common historical memory of residents.Therefore,this paper introduces the theory of cultural capital into the field of urban community renewal,and studies the types,characteristics and optimization strategies of urban community renewal by focusing on the identification,classification,evaluation and utilization of community cultural capital.It advocates for a phased renewal system in the old city community,offering innovative ideas and seeking to establish an evaluation system rooted in five key dimensions:foundation,life,spirit,system,and product.Through this,the paper delineates specific strategies for classified renewal and optimization.
