Study on Economic Spatial Pattern and Its Evolution of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration:Based on the Perspective of Industrial Space Linkage
From the perspective of industrial space linkage,the research calculates the external radiation capability of industrial development of cities in Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration based on the input-output model,and applies the gravity model and social network analysis method to study the economic spatial pattern and its evolution of industrial space linkage in 2010 and 2020.The research findings indicate that:① Chongqing and Chengdu have the greatest external radiation capability and external connection strength in terms of industrial development,with a significant increase during the study period;the industrial development hierarchy among the 14 prefecture-level cities is not pronounced.② The industrial spatial connection network is characterized by a core-periphery structure,with Chongqing and Chengdu as the core and the 14 prefecture-level cities as the periphery;during the study period,the centrality of Chongqing and Chengdu has been strengthened.③ During the study period,a preliminary pattern of economic integration in the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle has emerged.On this basis,relevant suggestions for promoting the optimization of the economic spatial pattern of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration are given from the perspective of improving the industrial space linkage.
