A Literature Review on the Environmental Justice via Urban Space Governance
Research on urban space governance from the perspective of environmental justice has attracted massive attention from scholars continuously,leading to an extensive body of literature.In comparison to the amount of research from other countries,the studies in the context of China are relatively less.This paper reviews the literature of environmental justice via urban space governance which has been published since 2010 systematically.In doing so,firstly this paper defines the concepts of environmental justice and urban space governance,and then provides a conceptual framework to clarify the concepts.Secondly,the software CiteSpace is adopted to investigate the main themes and trend of the literature.Thirdly,based on the conceptual framework and the extensive literature,the paper analyses the justice of recognition,procedure and distribution,explores the goals and implementation paths of achieving environmental justice,and concludes the overall process of public participation and spatial planning in the context of urban space governance.This paper contributes to providing enlightenment for policy-makers and bringing attention on environmental justice via urban space governance to the scientific filed in China.
