Research on the Paradigm of Urban Historic Landscape Protection Based on Dynamic Integrity
This study takes urban historical landscapes as the research subject and introduces the theory of dynamic integrity. It employs interdisciplinary intersection methods, literature interpretation and analysis,as well as historical geo-spatial data overlay to construct a two-way interaction and spatio-temporal continuum that maintains public identity and the space-time continuum within a dynamic context. An urban historical landscape dynamic integrity protection paradigm centered on identity relationships is established.Taking Ballarat, one of the pilot cities for urban historical landscapes,as a case study, the protection paradigm is applied to offer paradigmatic guidance for the recognition of urban historical landscapes, the protection of urban heritage, and the practical implementation of dynamic integrity theory.
