A Study on Suzhou Old Community Zero-Carbon Renovation Based on an Approach of Ecological Gene Flexible Repair
In the new era of global technological change and industrial revolution, there is an urgent need to explore how to fully integrate society's economic development with ecological and environmental optimization. This article selects old communities within the ancient city of Suzhou as design research cases.Through the assessment of the material ecological environment and the behavioral characteristics of the population in the case area,it identifies issues such as low resource utilization rates and the absence of spatial venues.By identifying traditional construction ecological genes and modern adaptive ecological genes,a smart ecological gene map is established. With low-carbon emission and high-efficiency urban renovation strategies, the region undergoes flexible repair to reconstruct the human-land relationship and establish a community carbon accounting method with strong applicability, providing a reference for urban zero-carbon transformation.
