Traditional villages are the spatial embodiment of Chinese historical and cultural values.From the provincial perspective,the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages are analyzed to effectively support the protection and utilization of traditional villages.This paper takes 472 traditional villages in Jiangsu province as the research object,uses the nearest neighbor index,geographic concentration index,imbalance index and other models to identify the spatial distribution characteristics at different scales and batches,and constructs the framework of"grid analysis+geographic weighted regression"to analyze the effect of various influencing factors.The conclusions are as follows:① At different scales,the spatial distribution of traditional villages in Jiangsu province presents the characteristics of differential distribution,the regional the distribution of traditional villages is relatively scattered at the regional and municipal scales,and concentrated at the district and county level,mainly in Wujiang,Suzhou;Yixing,Wuxi;Gaoyou and Jiangdu,Yangzhou.② The spatial distribution density of different batches of traditional villages in southern Jiangsu is much higher than that in northern Jiangsu.③ The ecological,demographic,economic,traffic and urban factors have significant differences in the direction and intensity of the spatial distribution of traditional villages,which puts forward higher development requirements for the protection and utilization of traditional villages.
