Spatial Differentiation Characteristics of Featured Countryside in Jiangsu and Its Driving Factors
The featured countryside are typical demonstrations for promoting rural revitalization in Jiangsu province. In this paper,a comprehensive application of spatial analysis and the geographical detector method is used to investigate the characteristics of spatial differentiation and its evolution of the featured countryside in Jiangsu province from 2019 to 2022,and the study analyzes their driving factors. The results show that:(1)The distribution of the featured countryside shows obvious regional heterogeneity, with the highest distribution density in southern Jiangsu and the lowest density in central Jiangsu, and presents cohesive and uneven distribution trends at the urban scale, but its unevenness decreases year by year.(2)The spatial pattern is characterized by the evolution of an increase in the number and scope of high-density clusters year by year, with the current"Z"distribution, mainly the hilly areas of southern Jiangsu, areas along the Yangtze River, areas along the Lixia River and the adjacent areas of Xuzhou-Suqian.(3)In terms of single-factor influence, factors such as farmers'disposable income, road mileage, rural financial expenditure, and population density have significant effects on the spatial differentiation of the featured countryside;in terms of factor interaction, location and transportation condition is the most important driving factors of the spatial differentiation of characteristic rural areas. The study helps to expand the theoretical research on growth poles of rural revitalization and is of great practical significance in optimizing government policies promptly, rationally adjusting the pattern of rural development and resource allocation, and sustained promotion of rural revitalization.
