Exploration and Practice of Immersive Planning Method Based on Virtual Reality
This article reviewed the researches on the combination of urban planning and virtual reality(VR),including virtual touring,auxiliary design research,and auxiliary public participation.Aiming at the limitations of current researches and practices,this article proposed an immersive planning method and its overall framework with immersive experience,full process coverage,and multi-agent collaboration.Taking actual planning projects as an example,an immersive planning platform with basic functions was built and relevant personnel was invited to experience and evaluate.The result showed that immersive planning method has advantages and disadvantages compared with traditional methods in term of element expression effect,which helps perceive space but has disadvantages such as inconvenient operation and unprecise scenes.Finally,this article made a prospect for the future development of immersive planning method and VR.
