Parking issues,as a focal point of public concern and high-quality development, have attracted widespread attention. However, current parking management mainly focuses on policy formulation and planning countermeasures, with a lack of in-depth research on how to comprehensively evaluate the development level of parking systems.Based on the analysis of the guiding direction for the development of parking systems, this study constructs an index system and a parking index model from two spatial dimensions:the overall city and key areas. It integrates six dimensions:parking supply, management, efficiency, service, coordination, and satisfaction evaluation. Finally, the model is empirically tested in Wuxi city, and the results align with the actual parking situation, confirming the effectiveness of the evaluation.
