A Technology-Enabled Traffic Subdivision Approach for Integrated Transportation Planning Orientation
The article,based on mobile signaling and road network big data,proposes a technology-enabled traffic district division method for traffic planning.The method divides clustering units using road network data and accurately identifies the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of residents'travel within these units using mobile signaling data.It then clusters the data based on an improved coupled spatial clustering algorithm,adjusting the clustering results with the current road network to obtain the final traffic district division results.A case study in Ningbo demonstrates that this technology-enabled traffic district division method can balance residents'spatiotemporal travel characteristics with the urban road network,ensuring overall continuity of the traffic districts.This method has strong applicability and can significantly aid in the scientific formulation of traffic planning.
